The Sobell Foundation asks all grantees to complete a short evaluation form once a year. The purpose of this form is not to create unnecessary paperwork, but to help us understand the difference our funding makes and to ensure we are supporting organisations in the most effective way.
Since we mainly provide unrestricted funding, the form is designed to be simple and relevant. We are interested in how our grant has helped your organisation overall, the impact you’re achieving, and any challenges or lessons you would like to share. This helps us reflect on our grant-making and advocate for the important work that you do.
We have included some basic questions on safeguarding to reflect our commitment to ensuring that the organisations we support have appropriate measures in place to protect beneficiaries, staff and volunteers.
Please be honest: we know not everything always goes to plan, and learning from difficulties is just as important as celebrating success.
Grant evaluations are due by 12 months after receipt of your last grant payment. If we have made a grant over more than one year, we cannot make any further payments until we have received your evaluation.
Please download the evaluation template from the links below, complete it electronically, and send it by email to enquiries@sobellfoundation.org.uk. Please do not return it by post. Israeli charities should also send the evaluation to their UK-based conduit if required.
The form should be no more than 2 pages once completed.
For UK charities: If you have any questions about the information required, please contact us at enquiries@sobellfoundation.org.uk.
